The Nationalist Congress Party has written to government not to allow the release of Ekta Kapoor's film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara on Independence day. NCP leader Jitendra Ahwad told TOI, "We are not against the release of the film but since the film is allegedly based on the life Dawood Ibrahim we would not want it to be released on an auspicious day."
Meanwhile a Minority group too has objected to the manner in which Bismillah song has been picturised in the film.
