Olive Telecom unveils 3G tablet in India



    NEW DELHI: Olive Telecom has launched OlivePad VT100, India's first 3.5G tablet. Designed as a multi functional device, OlivePad runs on Google Android Operating System and supports 3.5G HSUPA, Wi-fi and Bluetooth. With an in-built 3 megapixel camera and a front camera, Olive Pad can be used as a touch notebook for browsing, multimedia, instant messaging and social networking, GPS for maps and turn by turn directions, gaming console and also as e-book reader and TV. It is also a smartphone allowing voice and video calling. Other features on OlivePad include flash support and mini USB port. OlivePad will hit retail stores across the country in August.
