The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced Team India’s squad for the South Africa tour. While most members of the ODI squad have been retained, pacer Zaheer Khan has found a place back in the squad. All eyes were on Gautam Gambhir’s selection after his performances in the domestic series, but he was ignored. "His name was discussed, in fact, we discussed a lot of things. Even skipper M S Dhoni was consulted and all the players were selected unanimously," BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel said after a meeting of the selection committee. Ambati Rayudu will make his maiden entry into the Test team as a reserve batsman.Yuvraj Singh has maintained his position despite dishing average performance in the ODI series against Australia and the present West Indies series as well.
